Most Chinesium clones I've seen are better than this. Jaws are canted and do not clamp parallel/flat to eachother. This results in both halves only making contact on a single small point along the edge of each jaw. It's no wonder it's commonly reported on other sites that the Tweko ground clamps arc and spark. I'll have to file the face of each jaw so they clamp flat against the surface. Unfortunately this will remove much of the grip these might have had. Not cool. Makes me wonder if ESAB is selling Tweko rejects. Also, exactly like the photo appears, these do not have any copper appearance/content above regular brass. I see no difference between this and the China and/or HF clones as far as allegid copper content. I expected to see a slight copper color cast. Nope, yellow brass. I believe "extra copper" in these is a bogus claim intended to mislead customers to think they are getting a higher quality metal and conductivity. Packaging and mgf stamp appear to be legit. These just seem to be a low quality part with low quality control. At 3 times the price of other similar products, save your money imo. Spring is stiff which is good and bad. Average people will probably have to use two hands on thicker metal and even then may not have enough strength to open the jaws fully. For a allegid US product, Tweko should be embarassed. Out of the box, the only place this clamp belongs is in the garbage imo. Shameful Tweako!

It's a strong clamp. Works pretty well. Attaching the cable is easy. It clamps to my welding table very well and doesn't slide off like my old clamp.

This is a good ground clamp. I was able to connect the wire easily and they seem very sturdy. One reviewer said they only opened an inch but they actually open two full inches. It's difficult for me to open them that far as they are very stiff but that's a good thing, makes certain to clamp tightly.

These are very heavy duty and grip really hard. Much better than the pressed steel ones that come with the welder. This one went on the Tig welder.

This is a well built and heavy duty, at least the 300amp unit, clamp that should come with welders from the start. Used this to upgrade the factory clamp on a klutch inverter mig welder DC 140amp. The wire this is designed for is much larger so I stripped a large section and triple folded it to have a secure hold inside the terminal screw. Also removed the band that came with it to replace with a small radiator clamp. This clamp is stout and requires some grip strength to open all the way.Even tho it looks like other brass units that are gound for much less this is copper cast which has much greater conductivity than brass. A little pricey but worth the performance increase.

Worked awesome as a ground for my short circuit big machine. The only suggestion I would have is mounting the actual screw that tightens the ground to the side it would allow for more room to attach to work pieces.
