Would not power up, no LED display, when connected to solar power. Merchant, however, was very timely at replying to pre-purchase questions.

Mine caught on fire on my boat and took out a bunch of of electronics and wiring. I contacted the manufacturer and they gave me a automated response of it being out of warranty (short 2 year) and pretty much nothing else. Stay away from this brand.

There are few dual battery chargers available. Those one worked great for about two months then started flashing and stopped charging either battery bank. I discovered this during a campout when my battery voltages dropped. It's telling me there's a short on the PV lines or batteries, after chasing voltages all over and testing the system for problems I found nothing. I swapped a standby charge controller in to the stem and everything works. There is no advertised or publicized tech support and no idea of there is a warranty. I've ordered another to replace the bad controller, hope it works longer or I'll just change it out for two single controllers and pitch this one in the trash. Disappointed, but it was nice while it worked. The remote display is very handy but doesn't tell you the is a problem, you have to crawl around and view the LEDs directly.
