I have about 10kw of installed PV panels and two of these controllers. I easily get 100% (3kw) out of these at any point during the day. Excellent MPPT tracking. Only complaint is the controller can get quite warm during the charging duration, but the controller handles it well and does not error out. Am waiting on two WiFi devices to configure and monitor the devices via my WiFi... will make these even better when connected to Home Assistant.

Have purchased 9 Epever controllers from 30 Amps through 100 Amps for myself (I use two 60 Amp) and friends for solar installs in our RV's.Rock solid and excellent performance in all solar conditions including substantial overcast.A good choice in the "upper middle class of the MPPT controllers.Superior performance to Renogy and other lower end controllers and nearly as good as the "Blue" top of the line but without some of the bells and whistles and without the inflated price. Fairly easy to programand works flawlessly with any battery chemistry including Lifepo4.

Had high hopes for this controller. At first I was very impressed with how well the controller was built. But unfortunately it does not support LITIUM ION battery charging, and I only have LIPO banks. The unit also does cannot connect to PC via EPEVER's special software. No matter which port the USB is connected to or which driver I installed and reinstalled. After about half a day of messing around with the unit I gave up and called a friend who is a computer engineer/programmer. He said he would be able to have it connected to PC, but after about an hour he gave up. Unfortunately had to return it.

This controller works great , I had some problems at the start , it kept shutting down when the batteries were almost full then tripping the BMS in the batteries . then the Inverter I got would shut down cuz the BMS shut down. I thought it was the controller. WELL it was NOT the controller , my batteries were out of sink one was 13.5 volts , the other was 13 volts , soon as I got them both reading the same voltage by putting them in parallel over night . then unhooked them from each other , they both read 13.3 volts. went back an hour later checked them again they both were still 13.3 volts . then hooked them to the controller ( 24 volts in series ) and havent had any problems from that time on ( 2 months ) . so the controller works perfect.

If you are doing a moderate sized DIY solar setup, 2000W or less, you have to get an Epever Tracer. For $200 it has amazing functionality. I have a 48V battery bank and it does a great job of not over-charging and keeping them full. The accessories are great as well. A remote phone app and pc software with charts and live data. It's easy to setup. I've had no issues so far after 4 months.

Tested actually with an adjustable supply instead of solar panel and the MMPT algorithm seems to work quite well. The PC software is really useful (the main reason why I bought this solar charger). All the information is on a single screen.

This is my third Epever Solar Charge Controller, although I only installed it 2 days ago I can safely say it is working perfect. I thought my battery bank was dying but after a full day charging from this controller they are able to retain power for a longer period during the night. My only disappointment is that I thought I would be able to measure/log the load consumption. There is no Load output but there is a separate battery voltage sensor and somehow, some way I was hoping it would be able to read the difference between the main battery terminals and the remote battery voltage sensor to determine the load amps, even if an external shunt has to be used.To read the Load directly from the battery I use a battery voltage monitor between the battery and the inverter and an AC energy monitor on the inverter's output. The setup just looks incomplete with the energy consumption on my MT50, eLOG01 and PC software all showing zero.Statistics are very important when it comes to efficiency so maybe having to measure the load externally in not bad after all.I love the fact that more than one can be connected so I can expand without having to change the unit. I had 2 external voltage sensors which I no longer need, because of the the built-in relay features on this controller I'm able to control 2 DPDT relays to switch between the grid and my inverter.
