For the most part, this portable guitar stand does the job. They work as described. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase. However, there are a couple of minor improvements that could make this product a true 5-star product:1. Increase the width at the base where the stand touches the ground. This would help with preventing the guitar from tipping over accidentally.2. Add optional rubber pads to the base where the stand touches the ground (for slippery floors).3. Include optional spacers for guitars that are too thin to work with the default size of the stand.I would also personally pay a little more for a clamping mechanism that can be easily removed (and put back on) with one hand.

Works well for acoustic guitar. Not very practical if you plug in regularly as it is hard to slip on and off compared to a traditional guitar stand.

This is a cool stand, that you can have it clamped to the end of the guitar, but then just pick it up and play, then set it right back down in a standing up position, keeping the stand attached the whole time. It's low profile and stays out of the way. I have some acoustic guitars that are on the thinner size that it won't work on, but anything towards the more standard size thickness of an acoustic will work. I'd love one that works on Godins, Fender Acoustasonics and those types of thin acoustic/electric, and a mini one that fits on ukuleles and mandolins. But for now, this one is pretty awesome for standard acoustics and I would suggest.

I recently received this "ENO MUSIC Portable Wood Guitar Stand Solid Wood Guitar Stand for Acoustic Guitars Bass and Folk Guitars" and I'm not mad about it.A coworker of mine has begun taking guitar lessons every week after work one day. On lesson days he brings his guitar into the office where it usually spends 8-10 hours occupying the only available seating in his office. I thought this would be a great gift since it would reduce the likelihood of someone damaging the guitar, but is a small enough item to not take up too much room in the office.Pretty simple concept which seems to be well executed.Doesn't really hold the guitar UP without some additional support, but it does keep it off the floor and out of the chair. Happy to recommend.
