This is definitely better than the leaky valve I did have. Replaces easily. Still not as nice as the original but it works and I am happy.

I put this on an osprey hydration back and if there is any water in the line it leaks out steadily. I have to blow the water back in the pouch so it doesn't just drip on my leg while biking. Would not recommend.

They're simple, relatively inexpensive and work well. Get a few and spread them around to friends and family. I use it on my Osprey hydration pack, as does my friend.

After a few seasons, the mouthpieces on my family's Osprey H2O packs were getting a bit worn. Thank goodness I found these. They fit perfectly and work just as well as the original. Now we have no more leaks

I'm not a fan of how Osprey chose to design the bite valves, as the silicone invariably starts to crack and leak, so replacement bite values are a necessity if you use their hydration packs regularly.I tested these on two separate Osprey hoses, and it fit properly and sealed properly on both. Bite pressure was pretty much the same, too. I don't know if they'll hold up any better or worse than the Osprey ones, but they're so much cheaper, I'm not sure I care.
