Item description stated that it fits 2000 4runner but once arrived and pulled track bar off of vehicle to replace bushings I noticed new metal sleeves supplied are not the same and too long. Instructions in box even stated fits my year vehicle and everything but didn’t. Don’t know if miss boxed or what but would not work for my 4runner so returning

You will need to press out the old and press in the new with a giant c-clamp, vise or a 4x4 ball joint tool.

Wrote this for lower link/control arm kit. It applies to these parts due to brand. My old panhard rod bushings survived removal and probably could have been reinstalled. But control arm bushings fell apart during removal due to normal 23 year age breakdown of metal vs rubber and metal sleeve pressing out. Read on: High quality bushings. Fixed my wobbly 4Runner. Buuuuuuttt...... But my parts count was wrong out of the sealed plastic bag in the original box. Instead of 8 small and 8 large and side bushings, I got 7 and 9. So after removing old bushings (some old bushings broke upon removal), I could not complete the job. It's also hard to drive a car without a control arm. I called Energy Suspension and was told that because I bought through Amazon, they could not fix the problem and that I had no warranty. I asked how on earth I or any consumer would know not to buy from Amazon. They didn't have an answer. They said too many buyers have returned incomplete kits (buyer took parts out) and Amazon does not ensure kit is complete before reselling. Thus they don't authorize Amazon to sell their product. So I bought another kit, had to wait a week to get the parts and complete the job. I returned the second kit which was all brand new with the wrong parts count. I put a note inside that bag alerting to the problem. And described it in the return. I understand errors are going to happen. But if you order through Amazon, Energy Suspension will not fix any issues caused by them or other buyers. And no lifetime warranty. So check your parts count before destroying old bushings. And put a warning on/in the box for the next buyer.

If you have some rust then the plastic does not like to go in the hole. I used a dremel to clean it out and the plastic still refused without the grease, a C-clamp, and a small flat head screw driver. There is a reason this comes with two packets of grease...use it. Inserting the steel tube through the plastic is another challenge. Again, using a C-clamp, there is an easy way and a hard way. If the steel tube is pushing out the plastic on the opposite end, then you are going the wrong way. Also make sure both sides are blocked with a 2x4 if you are using a C-Clamp. Also, straightness is greatness on that operation. Keep things square.After all of that, this is pretty sweet. Yeah it is hard poly but the track bar doesn't really transfer much to the vehicle so there isn't much in the "rough ride" category. Took a video of it and it doesn't move at all. All looseness in driving disappeared.
