Nice solid "cushion" kit. I have a 1980 Camaro that felt "loose" and bottomed out on every road irregularity, This kit raised my car back up to proper ride height and gave me that solid Camaro feeling again.

I purchased these for my 81 2nd Gen Camaro a few months ago for a discounted price on Amazon. The mounts I had on my car were visibly old and deteriorated. I purchased these hoping that they would improve my ride quality and drive-ability. The purchase from Amazon went well as usual, no problems with part numbers in my case. Bottom line, this is a great product that really does make a difference to ride quality. The installation was painless, for the most part. The parts did fit as intended, and I was up and running in about an hour or two.Pros:- Noticeable improvement in ride quality. Nearly all remaining squeaks I heard while driving are now gone (the rest of my suspension is already upgraded). I noticed that the car suspension now reacts much better, and the ride is a little more stiff, as expected.- I will say that the Hyperflex Polyurethane material certainly does out-perform the rubber OEM part. They are advertised to also last much longer than rubberCons:- The front washers are huge, making a perfect fit a little difficult on the front radiator bushings. You may need to apply force to the body to get the holes to line up perfectly. In my case, the front mounting assembly had shifted a little bit.Installation Notes:I was able to install these by myself, with only a Jack (and one jackstand). I also used WD40, and standard mechanic ratchet and socket set. I basically soaked everything in WD40 first to loosen the heavily rusted bolts. I then loosened all mounts on both sides just a little bit, to ease installation. I proceeded with one side at a time, then went to the other side. Do not fully tighten the new bushings until you are done with the other side as well. You will need a bit of patience, since you will likely need to raise and lower the car just a bit as you are installing the new bushings. You will also need to adjust the position of the Jack as you work on the different bushings, raising the body just a bit to free up enough space to remove and replace the bushings. I ran into some trouble with the front bushings on either side of the radiator. I had to adjust the body a little to get the holes to line up properly using a pry bar (very carefully of course). After doing this, I had to adjust the hood, because the adjustment I made caused it to become un-aligned. Once I was finished, I gradually tightened each of the bushings evenly, to the proper torque specifications.- Caution: I heard that the force needed to break the middle and rear mounts can cause the inner mounts (where the bolts screw into) to break. These are very hard to gain access to, so be careful when loosening. This did not happen to me, perhaps because I let the WD40 to soak a bit.
