So many things to attache to handlebars (computers, lights, horn, bell, bags...) and so little room left where your hands don't go and cables don't run. This can provide a solution for lack of space and/or for repositioning for example putting a light up higher than a bag. This design doesn't add a lot of space but that also means it is more flexible. A single strut clamps to the bar, taking minimal space and easily removed as the clamp is hinged. Then the mounting tube can be positioned where it works best. Rotate the strut up/down/level as desired. Slide the tube side to side. For example the strut might have room on the left side but by sliding the tube right you give central mounting place. Lightweight and sturdy

I bought this extension to keep my phone holder higher and free up space for my new and big headlight. I removed two stars because the installation tool was not included in the package and because the tube is not made of aluminum.

Love this gizmo. My handle bars get a bit crowded with the things that cone with the bike like brakes and shifters. Try adding a handle bar bag, a bell, an odometer, and a cell phone holder. They all will not fit! This thing is the solution. Terrific!

If you look closely, the two light bars are being held on by this, so it may gives it a lot more room than what the bike handlebars can handle with this riser. I would definitely say it’s worth the money.

Check the measurements, it is short but mighty. I was able to mount my phone holder and a side view mirror on it, and seems to be holding on great.
