The dealer does indeed deal any number of cards requested. The problem lies in that it does not rotate or shift on its own. If you are dealing multiple cards to multiple players, you would deal one at a time to each until the desired number was dealt. This dealing machine deals multiple cards too quickly to be able to shift it to each player to deal one by one. Using this to deal cards for a group would be tedious.

it is not very accurate and will often deal more than it is set to, sometimes MANY more. like, set it to 5, and it may deal 5, 6, 7, or 20-something out at once.
