This is great wine opener. This one has a few more bells and whistles than most - I primarily use the foil cutter and opener. I like wine but not a connoisseur - so tend to ignore the aerator and rarely use the vacuum sealer. The pros on this opener are the holder to keep everything neat and not scattered throughout drawers looking for parts/chargers and the charger has clearly visible charge levels - my old version was guesswork.

I have owned 4 different electric openers in the past. They have all worked OK and there is little differences that set them apart. I am not too concerned with the little trinkets they come with and mainly use the opener itself. I do like the vacuum stoppers though. They work good with or without using the vacuum part and just using them as a cork if you want.Things I like about this set:-The base doesn't need to be plugged because the opener plugs in only when it needs charging.-The opener has a charge level indicator.-The opener lights up blue when removing cork from bottle, Red when removing cork from opener.-The cork fits in the chamber of the opener with little play so the corkscrew lines up good-The stand is nice and holds everything-Includes two vacuum stoppers, the opener, a foil cutter, and an aerator. The things I don't like:-The aerator. I just never use these and am not a big fan.-The vacuum stoppers take a long time to pump up. I have had faster better ones in the past-The opener seems to struggle but I have found they all work like this.Over all I buy these kits primarily for the opener and don't care too much about the other things. The opener itself is great, one of my favorites.

I got this to replace an electric wine opener from another manufacturer that had stopped working. It functions similar to the old one I had. Opening a wine bottle is effortless. Great for those with arthritis or who have poor grip strength. You just position it over the cork after cutting the foil off and press the button. A nice feature of this one is that a blue light comes on when the corkscrew is advancing into the cork and the light turns red once the cork is removed. So you are not trying to guess whether the cork is out. I also like that the lower part of the opener is clear so you can actually see the cork being removed and helps you realize there is no need to press down on the opener because you can see the cork coming out. When it is plugged in there are blinking lights to let you know it's charging, all four lights are on steady blue when it is fully charged. It comes with an aerator/pourer so you don't need to let your wine "breath" after opening and before enjoying. The vacuum stopper was a little quirky in my opinion. Most have the stopper and the plunger in two different pieces. With this one, the plunger is incorporated into the stopper. You insert the stopper into the bottle and pull up and down on the plunger several times to create a vacuum and seal the bottle. It works but takes several up and down pulls on the plunger before you get a seal. This was a minor thing in my opinion and is nice to have it all incorporated into one piece. The stand keeps everything nicely organized in one place.

This fine corkscrew comes with a foil cutter, aerator, and vacuum pumps. The foil cutter is easy to use and performs as you would expect. I normally use a powered aerator and the enclosed aerator is only so-so. Oxygen is the enemy of all wine. The vacuum pumps are designed to remove the oxygen. Like most in this class, you cannot remove enough oxygen to prevent oxidation. Now, if you are going to finish the wine within a couple of days, just put the cork back into the bottle. Longer than that, go ahead and pick up a can of Argon Gas Wine Preserver. The Argon is heavier than the air and creates a layer that the oxygen cannot penetrate. It is easily found on Amazon. The corkscrew itself is pretty good and easy to use. It has enough torque that you really don't need the foil cutter to remove the cork. Simply place the corkscrew on the bottle top and push the lower button. The corkscrew will turn on, as will a series of blue LED's. The corkscrew will drive itself into the cork and bottom out, and then it will remove the cork. When the cork is removed, the LED's turn magenta and the unit stops. Then push the top button and the LED's will turn red and the cork will be driven out.Pretty Slick.Cheers 🍷
