This is a great set for any wine lover without breaking the bank. The set included a foil cutter, a spout or aerator, and vacuum stopper and instruction pamphlet. The opener itself is easy to use and runs on 4-AA batteries. The battery compartment is a little tricky, but you just need to align the tabs on the cover and the notches and voila!This set will make a great gift, is small enough that you could travel with it to boot!RECOMMENDED!

This is a well made electric wine opener. It comes with a foil cutter, a vacuum pump to seal open an opened bottle of wine and a wine pourer.The wine opener itself takes 4 AA batteries. Two points, it has springs at the base of each of the slots for the batteries, which normally would mean that the base of the batteries goes against the spring. However that is not the case here with two batteries facing into the springs. They are helpfully but quite discreetly labelled by the slots (and easily missed).The second is putting the lid back on afterwards took me longer than expected. There are very small arrows that need to be aligned for the battery cover to slot back in.The cork extractor itself works very well. It has two buttons, one to extract the cork, the second to reverse tthis so the cork is taken out of the device. You just hold the wine bottle firmly and use the extractor button, which simply and quickly removes the cork. I also tried this with the foil still in place and it easily extracted the cork through the foil.The process is quite quick and incredibly simple. As is getting the cork from the device which unentangles itself from the cork as it returns it. The device itself is about the same size as the cardboard rolls inside a roll of paper towels and a bit shorter than those. It is with the batteries at the top a bit top heavy so if you are standing it up for storage, it stands up but quite easy to topple over, so I have stored laying down rather than next to the wine glasses.The vacuum stopper is simple and works well, though takes quite a bit of pumping with a ½ empty bottle of wine. The wine pourer works well as does the foil cutter. This is a great little device that will be my go to for opening wine bottles.

Very convenient and easy to use wine opener. Foil cutter works well and so do the pouring spout and vacuum sealer. This kit is pretty tough to beat for the price. I do prefer rechargeable units because I often end up breaking the battery door many times (operator error). Overall, this is a nice convenient set and it would make a nice gift for the wine enthusiast in your circle of friends or family.
