I've had this for about 6 months and it seems like the internal cordng attached to the outer ring that attached to the power cord (which has broken) and I'm afraid of trying to turn it on lest it be a fire hazard.Before this, it worked very well. Hence 2 stars instead of one. I'm hoping going the shop's review to get them to respond because I can't self-trouble shoot as one of the troubleshooting is just lists of potential problems that don't apply. If the seller responds with another option (or how to fix) I may raise my review stars.

I think this is my third electric blanket for the home. It works well and each person wants their own. Besides the multiple heat settings I really liked that it has an auto turn off after so many hours.

This blanket is wonderful. It has kept me warm and is very comfortable. The material is so soft, yet durable enough to hold the coils in to shield from excess heat. It's big enough to cover my queen size bed.

So I have to take an electric blanket any time I travel. I also use one at home every night. In the past, I bought a twin bed sized electric blanket and packed it into my suitcase. However, even a twin sized blanket takes up a ton of room in luggage. So...I ordered this. While the size is significantly better than lugging around a twin sized blanket, two things:-it is very small and would really only work as either a blanket or a full-body throw for someone less than 5 feet tall.-it does get warm but nothing like the heat produced by my [past and current] electric blankets.-it only stays warm for 4 hours (electric blankets usually have timers ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours).Im going to keep it because it is a more manageable size and because its warm enough that I can fall asleep (I hate cold beds and freezer-style air conditioned hotel rooms), but it is about a foot too small, I'd like it to get warmer and I'd like it to stay heated longer. It is soft so thats good but it does shed a bit. Hopefully it wont shed after another washing.

Este es un producto sumamente maravilloso, porque en temporada de Dic-Marzo en la ciudad de puebla, hace un frío tremendo y la verdad el poder tener un calentador (genera un gasto de luz enorme) y soy sincera, con ese frío y las paredes de ladrillo, no ayuda en nada a calentar el cuarto.Pero hablando específicamente de este cobertor/sábana, es una cosa fenomenal, porque puedes configurarlo para que se apague de forma automática una vez iniciado el calentamiento, (puede ser desde 1 hora hasta 8 horas, y va desde los 30°C hasta los 44°C)¿Como lo uso yo? Primero si yo se que me voy a dormir a cierta hora lo enciendo unos 20-40 minutos, antes de que lo haga, para que así ello haga su función y entonces yo entre a la cama con una temperatura 🌡 mayor a la del cuarto.¿Donde debería de colocar el cobertor? La verdad es que yo tarde un poco en acomodarme porque me lo ponía encima, a veces abajo, y bueno, no sabía, hasta que lo puse tal cual sobre el colchón, posterior a ello puse el cubre colchón, seguido de la sábana de cajón, y por si fuera poco, me tapo con un duvet (Recomiendo los de IKEA, puedes usar el que es frío o literal comprar el que es super super caliente) y con eso, no paso absolutamente nada de frío, al menos esta técnica me funcionó super bien, porque así ya no es necesario tener tantas Sábanas sonre ti.Ojalá con mi reseña pueda ayudarte a despejar algunas dudas. Es un producto de excelente calidad, y por el precio, vale mucho la pena, ya que al lagar la cuenta de luz, no es nada comparado a que si compras un calentador (que ni te va a mantener caliente toda la noche, vas a pasar frío y peor aún, los gastos van a ser exagerados).

La manta es suave y cómoda, pero el sistema de calentamiento no funciona adecuadamente, y a pesar de tenerla en la temperatura máxima por más de 2 horas, sólo se calentó de manera parcial y tibia.

I'm always cold at work and have tried smaller heating pads and heated blankets.The heated blankets were too big, unwieldy and kept getting stuck under my chair legs. It wasnt very practical. My smaller, older heating pad is too small, keeps twisting up, the cover keeps coming off, etc.So, in desperation and frustration, on Friday I ordered this larger heating pad in purple. It was $44 which I think is insanely expensive, but again, I was desparate. I knew I couldn't get through another day at work cold.Im 5'2" and 135 pounds just to give you an idea. While sitting in my work chair, the heating pad covers my lap and the sides and lengthwise it covers my stomach and my knees.I've tried all 3 settings: low, medium and high. I go through stages where it's not warm enough or I get too hot but all seem to work as they should. My older heating pad gets super hot and I'm not sure this gets as hot but I've been delightfully warm and cozy all morning.On the controller is a large on/off switch, as well as the 3 temperature settings.3 of the edges don't seem to heat up as stated in other reviews but not a problem for me. The majority of it heats up. In the pictures, the dots are where the heat is distributed.It's soft and I love the purple color.The only issue is when I get up my black cotton pants have fuzzies or whatever on them from the fabric but I keep a lint roller on hand. I'll live with that issue.Now I hope it lasts a while. I'll provide an update if I experience any issues.I'm not sure how helpful my pics are but I took pics of it on my lap and the controller and cord.

This arrived just in time!! I have back problems when it starts to get cold and the best thing that seems to help is a hot and cold mixture. I have ice and ice packs for cold and for warm I use rice bags! Lol I have some cloth bags that have rice that I microwave and then use on my back! This is something that my wife taught me and it works, but it’s definitely a hassle! So when I saw this shoulder heating pad, I decided to give it a go.The pad is very very easy to use! It 18x25 and cover your back, shoulders, neck, legs, and waist perfectly! The pad has three large general spots of heat and they have 3 heat settings. You can cycle from low, medium, and high! The high setting is very very hot! Comfortable and bearable, but hot!! I put it on my back and after a couple minutes had to turn it down! I had it to the back of a leather couch which got extremely hot to the touch!The first couple of times I used this, it had a very funny, plastic burning smell. This seemed to be a normal habit with items that get hot quickly. After a couple of uses the smell went down. Overall this is a great pad! It has multiple uses, great coverage, and helps with relief. I bought it for myself and my wife ended up using it for comfort while she’s on her period!!
