The instructions given seem to cover several versions but not the one on the cover. I'm a beginner so maybe this is my unfamiliarity with the information. still, this could be a bit more straight forward in the instructions, since I could have easily downloaded a pattern for FREE, if I had wanted to stay confused.

I love this pattern. It is so simple and the Quilt In A Day patterns are so easy to follow. This pattern is so beautiful. I first saw it in a quilt that was made in the 1930's by my husband's grandmother. The one she made was of so many colors, but I like the elegant simplicity of the 2 colors in this pattern. I can't wait to get started.
