For this price I was expecting elastic that is too stretchy. It's not as stiff as some other ones I have purchased but for thinner fabrics it's perfect. I will be using it for replacing underwear waist bands, to pull in bottom sheet corners, and any lightweight to medium weight fabrics.

I like to do sewing and repair work quite often. The problem is that I no longer have a way to get to the store most of the time when I want to work on a project. If I have to wait, then I have to stop and the project rarely gets finished. These rolls allow me to move forward whenever I want to work.HOW THESE COMEThese come wrapped in plastic covering so it is protected if your package is left in the rain. They are rolled up on a nice compact roll.QUALITYThe quality of both of these elastics is very good. It is not the kind you want to use for swimwear as it won't last through heavy water use, but it is great for most other projects. The snap is good and the firm weave is not weak. It has a good grip to it and will snap back nicely when used.THE BOTTOM LINEThis pack of elastic is excellent for basic uses as long as it is not swimwear.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. It is so nice to have 1/4 inch elastic available in rolls so I can just cut off what I need and use it. I am so glad that this is the nicer quality elastic with good retraction power instead of the weaker kinds that don't last long.

This elastic comes in large spools, and it's nice that you get both black and white. It stretches and stays flat, which is important. I've been sewing for years and since COVID, I've run short of elastic. I use elastic for a lot of different things, so I like to keep a lot on hand.

These two rolls of elastic are a handy width, and there is a lot of it! These will be very useful for me as I have been dieting and now have a lot of clothes that are too big for me in the waist. I plan to replace the elastic in several pairs of shorts, pants, and a couple of slips. I think I'll also add an elastic strap to a couple of sunhats that I plan to take to the beach with me in a week or so. (A black elastic strap that goes under my hair in the back will be invisible, but it should prevent my hats from ending up somewhere out to sea!)This width (1/4 inch) is the perfect size for many applications, and this elastic seems to be quite strong and stretchy. This is great value for money, too, especially considering how much there is on each roll.

Two rolls of great braided elastic, perfect for edges of spandex costumes or swimsuits that don't go in chlorine! Having black for darker costumes and white for lighter costumes, these are wonderful and soft. It is also great that the rolls are so big!

A little odd that the rolls are different sizes/heights, but I'm going to assume they both have the full amount on them. If you need lots of 1/4 inch elastic, this works! It is classic elastic for everyday functions.

From my wife - This is a bargain. I make scrunchies for craft shows. This is the size I need. It seems strong and stretchy. Two good qualities. I typically use white but it doesn’t matter since the elastic goes inside and no one sees it. It is easy to work with and will feed into the scrunchy fabrics. I feel this supply will last forever.

This elastic band is just what I needed for my sewing and craft projects. The stretch is strong and it holds its shape well, even after repeated use.
