This is a convient piece of clothing as it can double as a house dress (-I might feel a bit funny wearing it outside on the street-) and this can be mighty convenient given who else is in the house. (I add a little scarf to enhance the "house dress" effect).Why only a 4 star: I find the zipper a tad too short, I wish it went all the way to the bottom of the hem. I owned a similar item at one time on which the zipper went all the way down the front, and that made the article more comfortable for lounging around, sitting on the couch for example.

Likes: Comfortable, fits well, modest, functional, practical, has pockets.Dislikes: Rather dowdy muumuu-like design, a dull blue, looks nothing like the photo, mostly polyester fabric, length goes to floor on short people.

This robe is wonderful for summer and quickly trips to bathroom perfect for chillin out in the morning until you decide what to wear for the day. It’s soft not too long the zipper is sturdy. It kinda sticks to you after a shower… I have a different robe for that because I didn’t like how it felt after the shower. I use it for everything else! Love knowing how it makes me feel!!

Great for cooler weather. Size to fit if you’re tall it would only go to your knees. Color is beautiful. Very comfortable. Wanted to get polyester for lighter weight but this is heavier. Now I have to find a lighter weight one for summer.

The fabric is just the right weight, no need for summer or winter robe. I love the length of the sleeves - about elbow length - never gets in your coffee or cereal! the zipper is somewhat heavy for the robe but I imagine it will not bind or get off track either. I was so impressed, I ordered another color within days. China made but not the usual ,too small too cheaply made. Love it.

Well-made and lovely soft material. The Zipper is of high quality though you can easily pull it over your head if you didn't want to use the zipper. Had a hard time choosing a colour as there was a wide range available. Bought the one above and it has worn so well and so well made that I have now purchased the mauve one as well.

I'm really pleased with this product.The fit is as expected, if you use the size chart. Maybe a touch roomy, but not so much I'd size down.It's lightweight (not fleece or terry), which is nice since I run hot. It is thick enough to keep things modest, though.The 3/4 sleeves make it easier to apply makeup/style hair/wash hands than full sleeves would, which is a bonus.I'm 5'2" and it hits a bit below mid-calf. I'm not worried about bending over and showing anything accidentally, but it's also not so long that I'm dragging it across the floor. The zipper stops at a point where I feel I can walk freely and comfortably.A tiny thing, but I appreciate its usefulness: The tag is stitched so that it can be hung from a hook. Mighty handy.I noticed some reviews talking about the zipper. Mine has worked just fine. There may be some duds out there. I wonder, though, if perhaps some people are running into trouble correctly laying the placket down before zipping. All zippers are stitched with a placket. This flap of fabric running the length of the piece keeps the zipper from touching you. Not only does this mean that you don't accidentally get your skin caught in the zipper (ouch!), but it also keeps the cold metal zipper from being a surprise against your warm skin, as well as helping the zipper to lay down flatly as it should. If it truly bothers you, even for a novice, it's not difficult to tack the placket back out of the way with a needle and thread. If you're not into giving that a go, any alterations shop/tailor should be able to do it for you quickly and cheaply. You're unlikely to find a product with a zipper that doesn't also have a placket. Take a look at your jeans, you'll see the same.All in all, would buy again in a heartbeat!

My elderly neighbor (who is like a grandma to me) had told me she was looking for a long, light-weight, zip-up robe for summer. I had looked on some other sites, but couldn't find anything remotely close to what she wanted, so I was beginning to think such a robe did not exist. I decided to search Amazon, and after a few clicks, to my surprise, I found these! I then showed them to my neighbor, and she wanted me to order 2 of them for her right away. As soon as they arrived, she called me over, and she couldn't wait to try them on. She had a little trouble seeing the zippers, but she got them done up, and they look so good on her! They fit her perfectly! She didn't even notice they had pockets, so she was thrilled when she discovered them. The robes seem super soft, and decently light-weight. She is over the moon with happiness over these robes, and I'm glad these worked out for her! I kind of want one for myself now. Only thing is, these robes are LONG! My neighbor is at least a few inches taller than me, and these came down to her ankles, so on me, it'd probably drag on the floor. Might be worth it to get it tailored to better work with my height though!
