Hard Styrofoam and the finished side is impressively clean & paints well. Buy the precut corners to eliminate the need to make those harder cuts. I highly recommend.

Very light, and easy to handle. You have to follow the patterns in order to cut and match. I install it in the kitchen cabinets, match the color, spray paint et voilà!
