I have no idea how well the fan works because the screwdriver they send to open the switch up with immediately stripped and is totally unusable now. I got ONE screw out before it broke. The screwdriver is not made of materials sufficient to get the job done.Feels like a massive waste of time and money.

I got this because my stock switch fan was getting to the point where I'd hear it across the house and the promo images/description said it had a silent design. It's about half as loud as my old fan, so while it's an improvement it's still louder than my liking. The Triwing screwdriver that came with this also stripped two of my screws so I had to drill them out, if you have better screwdrivers don't bother with the ones included in this kit.

Fan started making lots of noise when running. Replaced with this fan and good as new. There are plenty of videos available to walk you thru the process and it only took about 15min total.

Worked perfect on Nintendo Switch. Super quite and works! My old fan was buzzing and slapping the switch would fix it for a few minutes. Then the buzz and loudness would begin again. Buy this if you have thermal paste already. If you do not buy other kits that come with thermal paste.As is 5 stars, best price for tools and fan!!!

My old fan was noisy due to use, you could feel abnormal vibration and noise while using the Switch in handheld mode. After replacing it and the thermal paste, my 2017 Switch works smooth and silent like a new one.
