Love the stainless steel door, wood shelves and dual zone. Dislike the top shelves are for red wine and only holds 8 bottles. The bottom zone holds 12 bottles for wine. I drink more red than white. The temp controls are set for red on top and white for bottom so you can’t swap. I also like that the light inside automatically turns on when the door is opened. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

This wine fridge is just what I was looking for for my space. It fits right beside the fridge and I didn't have to alter or add any cabinets. It is also pretty quiet aside from a few regular noises. It's definitely not louder than my regular fridge, and doesn't disturb us at all. It keeps cool at the set temp with no issues.

I love this wine cooler.. but I do think it is waay overpriced. It fits 18 regular bottles fine and the temperature is always set accordingly at 40 degrees. The unit is not noisey which is a relief since it sits in my foyer. Everyone who sees it entering my aptartment is impressed by its look at quality. At +$550 .. I do think it is very expensive but it fit built-in nook nicely. I'm happy with it.

While not critical for most homeowners, the temperature varies more than I expected, as shown by the onboard display. it showed variations of +2 to -5 degrees from the setting of 55 F with an average of +2/- 3.7. As these displays are not necessarily accurate, it would be necessary to use a separate precison electronic thermometer to determine the actual variation. However, this seems good enough for short term storage of most wines. The door was easily reversed which was not true of a competing unit, so that is a plus. As with all units of this type, it will not hold champagne and other large bottles . The seventh bottle on the bottom needs to be put in backwards to obtain full capacity. It is attractive and well made and I would buy it again.

The good: The unit was easy to install and fit exactly where the trash compactor was. Measure your space *carefully* against the dimensions of this cooler to make sure it will fit. Also adjust the feet so the door is not leaning forward as it may not stay closed, or will open too easily. The shelving is cheap; larger bottles have trouble fitting. But for the size, price, and 2 zones I WAS happy. Until….The bad: after 3 years of operation, beeping started and the display read “LO” on one side. I called and emailed product “support”. They sent a service manual for replacing a logic board, and sold me a new board. BUT their “service manual” does not include *this* model. So your guess is as good as the customer service rep’s how to locate and fix the control board in my model.Turns out, after taking the entire thing apart from the front, the part I needed to find is IN BACK of the unit. And it ain’t easy to get to the screws. And now I have to try to reconstruct the entire thing without knowing if the fix will work.Sure I could hire a refrigerator repair person. But a) who works on “Edgestar” and 2) it will cost almost as much as a new unit.Basically you buy cheap you get cheap and you’re on your own.

Measurements were spot on. Arrived packed in THREE boxes..one inside the other and packed to the hilt with foam and supports. Set up was super simple...we prepped our area and had an outlet out in the back of the cabinet...plugged in , put handle on and In less than two hours, was at 42 degrees. Very quiet Will review later after we have owned it for two or three months. Before and after photos of our area.Update…5yrs later…unit has crapped out. Compressor has gone bad..don’t know if this is common or just bad luck on our end. Originally purchased the 3yr warranty, so appears we will have to purchase another unit. Otherwise, has performed quietly and flawlessly.

This is perfect for a standard kitchen where one does not want or need to give up the space for the commonly available 18+ bottle coolers. I love how it's streamlined and narrow (only 6 inches wide). It frees-up refrigerator space, keeps 7 bottles cool and adds a modern touch to the newly-remodeled kitchen. I almost made the mistake of buying a similar one from a big box store only to research it (as I always do) and find out it wasn't designed to be recessed under a counter top or be placed between cabinets. This one is designed to be recessed under a countertop and be installed in-between cabinets. It is not intended to be placed "inside" a cabinet. This was a little pricey, but I scoured the internet and found no other SLIM coolers designed to be recessed into a row of cabinets (it will fit right under a standard-height counter top and has adjustable height feet to fine tune the fit). It works great and has a cool looking blue LED which you can keep on all the time or turn it off. It has adjustable temperature settings as well. It doesn't run frequently and when it does, you can barely hear it. It requires a standard 120VAC receptacle to be installed behind the unit (15 amp if dedicated or 20 amp if part of the kitchen circuit). The depth leaves plenty of room for the plug and cord behind the unit. Again, this is intended to be recessed into a row of cabinets - NOT installed INSIDE a cabinet. Many similar looking units available in big-box stores are only designed to be free-standing and not be incorporated into the row of cabinets. This model has a front-facing ventilation grill and fan (like a full-size refrigerator) which enables it to be sandwiched between cabinets. If you put the effort into installing it properly, the slight space on either side of the unit will not be noticeable as the door is slightly wider. It looks perfectly built-in to our cabinets. The door is also reversible, if needed.NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions or failing to read the product details prior to purchasing. Writing valuable reviews helps pay it forward.
