Hose arrived in sealed new package, during installation I noticed that the end that screws into the gear box was not flared properly, some how this must have been missed when it was assembled. It looked to me that the line had not been placed securely in the flaring device at the assembly plant. I removed the hose and used my flaring tool to flare it correctly. I could have returned for a replacement but decided to fix it on my own so I could get back on the road.
