Pressure Hose and return hose covers are highly resistant to oil, heat and ozone which cause ordinary assemblies to fail prematurely. Tube construction withstands internal oil temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Double piles of high-tensile strength braided fabric help Edelmann pressure and cylinder line hose to withstand pulsation pressures up to 1, 500 psi and bursting pressures up to 8, 900 psi. Tubing is Pro-coated or terne coated and couplings and fittings are zinc-chromate plated for rust and corrosion protection. The uniform crimping process ensures a long-lasting connection and the ferrule ends are flared to prevent pinching or cutting of the hose under tight-bend conditions. Tapered crimp design relieves stress and eliminates tube fatigue. Mounting brackets are included where applicable to ensure a perfectly aligned, stable installation. If the OE utilizes a non-reusable feature, Edelmann duplicates that feature on its aftermarket product. Heat shields and convoluted sheathing designed to protect the hose are additional examples of Edelmann commitment to quality.

Replaced my old line on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 with this as previous owner jd welded the power steering pressure sensor in and it was bad and needed to be replaced

Fit like a dream, with hydroboost.Would absolutely recommend using an 18mm LINE WRENCH. I did not have one and it was a pain, however wted up and bent a normal 18 to get the job done. 16mm on the pump.

I frequently look for OEM parts whenever possible. I could not find the OEM part in this case and took a chance on an aftermarket component. I'm happy with the results. This unit fit like the original and resolved my leaking hose issue.

Wish it was a bit easier but that isn't the hoses fault. This is the high pressure side, I couldn't find the low pressure side on Amazon though, just get it at the Auto Parts store and match it up.

it was intact and well made but i returned because the rack and pinion on my truck was different style
