Even though this is an eventing pad, I use it with my all-purpose saddle, and it fits perfectly with it. I have a round-barrelled, flat backed horse, and I needed something to help hold my saddle more securely on my big moving horse. And this pad does the trick! It doesn't have any straps to attach around the girth leathers, and that makes the pad so easy to put under and remove from under my saddle after riding. The grip of this pad is very good. My saddle does not move around. And it is easy enough and washes well in the washer.

I got this as a cross country pad - playing off of the look of the ECOGOLD. I have used this 3 times now and have zero complaints. It does not slide at all and washes completely back to white (with Tide Pods, Oxiclean white boost, and Shout spray). I LOVE the fact that IT DOES HAVE COTTON on the bottom because it allows for moisture and heat to not become trapped. Whoever was complaining before and gave this pad a bad review obviously didn't look at all of the product details nor images (lol).

I origianlly tried the Ecogold eventing pads but found they held heat and slid around on XC. These are MUCH cheaper and are super breathable while remaining in place! Hightly recommend!

This is a really nice pad, but after a few washings, the inner padding--which is not stitched in place-- shifts and folds making it unusable.
