It is not as good as a regular transfer punch set but it is way easier to carry around if you have to switch between metric and SAE holes and don't want to carry around two different punch sets. The reason why I bought it was to be able to center punch holes larger than the standard metric or SAE transfer punch sets. Over all I have had very good results compared to the crappy shop tools.

These are really handy to have in the toolbox to punch for a matching hole when you don't want to carry a whole set of transfer punches. because the punch has a little clearance inside of the guide hole, and the accuracy depends on how good the upper rim of the original hole is, you will not get the accuracy of a tight fitting transfer punch, but for many applications, it is good enough.
