I found this carrier difficult to install, and I’m still not sure if I actually needed it. Even after speaking with a Thule representative who recommended it, I felt uncertain. The lack of clear instructions made the experience frustrating.

We needed a carrier for my wife's bike which already had a carrier installed. Unfortunately, we could not install the Yepp child seat on her bike's carrier. Se we needed something to bolt onto it that was sturdy and would permit her to use the child seat. This rack worked very well, although it is quite heavy. Very sturdy and easy to install. Just what we were looking for.

Noch recht viel Platz für die Satteltaschen und super Halt für den Kindersitz. Ein Lampe kann noch extra montiert werden.

Not really sure what I was expecting but this thing is huge and heavy (6 lbs). If you want to use the kid carrier with bags I recommend finding a rack that works rather than hobbling together a solution like this item. With this and the seat I'm already at 16 lbs on my rack without adding my kid or bag(s)... gonna need a different rack anyway.

Looks great with my Maxi Easy fit on my Electra Cruiser. Instructions were a bit difficult to follow, but that might just be my deficit as I never could do model cars.

realized after purchasing this. If you have a Surly Nice Rack, not just the flight deck, the Yepp Maxi Easyfit seat will fit without having this adapter. Adapter was easy to install and works great with the bike seat.
