The cables are good, but didn't come with the bolt and clamps to replace the old ones. Maybe they wasn't supposed to come with it.

Good tailgate cables. Both were the exact same length, one is not longer then the other like the OEM GM ones. You need to get two one-inch bolts with the locking plastic ends with two washers to put at the nut (the inner plastic washers you can reuse). The head of the bolt against the tailgate before you tighten down the two T-40 bolts.
