These are holding my fabric (60% shade cloth) fantastically. We've had a lot of wind, and I've only had one time when it was an issue, and it was the fabric which tore. Yes, they are difficult to get on properly. I used two pairs of pliers; you align the holes for the larger pins first, use wider pliers for closing, then I used needle nose pliers to make sure all the smaller pins were completely closed. It takes work, but it's definitely worth it!

Bought these to secure screen fabric as designed. Used screws to secure them to our wood pergola rather than looping a rope or cord through them. Left the screws loose so the clip could have some movement. Within 2 weeks they started breaking and the foldover point. I've now replaced nearly every one of the 20 or so I installed, twice! These are junk! Will be looking for another product to use for next season.

Work very well when installing but very difficult to unclip without damaging it. It does hold well even in direct sunlight in 115 degree desert heat.

I used these to hold up a 6ftx15ft sunshade and it works like a charm. I simply snapped a clip on to the fabric every 18 inches, ran a piece of steel cable through the cable slot and hung it to the wall/nearby fence via eye bolts that i installed. This is a very simple yet effective way to hang and secure your shade fabric. I would also like to say that I live in southwest Florida and we get very high winds during thunderstorms and it has not showed any signs of coming loose.

The two large posts that pop through and snap to hold in place keep breaking off. I've already had to throw away 8 of them. Every couple days I look out on my deck, and my coolaroo sunscreen is flapping in the breeze. This brand is awful. I purchased a different brand last year and never had problems. These suck.

Hold onto the fabric well, but 80% have had the string rip through the ends with gusts of wind. Not chicago gusts of wind, Florida gusts of wind. Do not recommend
