It's a DW part. So, it is high quality. A friend had a DW 2000 with no beater. I bought this and a PDP beater. The pedal works great again. Now, I don't have to remember to bring a kick pedal when I go to his place to rehearse. This should fit all DW pedals with the hex rotator bar.

This is what I needed for my 5000 pedal. It missing the locking not that grooves into the main part , besides that all good
