Can't wait to try this out in the wood when hunting season, sounds very tempting, if I'm a deer I would come to check it out too. LOL . kinda bulky, this is one the biggest deer call that I have. will find out when season come or it will be just another collection like my other calls.

This is my second after mine was stolen. I like the way it has 2 volume abilities but you must learn to use as you can over blow the reeds and make weird sounds. Solid 4.45 starts.

Long story short I have never had luck with grunt calls. My hunting buddy swears by the Extinguisher but I bought this one on a whim at a local wally world last week. Right out of the package I was blown away by the realism of the vocals with this call.2 days ago I climbed up into a stand out in the swamp and gave a few bleats. two does showed up and i managed to spook them thanks to my muzzle loader barrel hitting the stand. two hours later I gave a few more doe bleats and immediately had an answering grunt and I could see antlers moving through the trees. Long story short I ended up with a very nice 13 pointer on the ground as well as a mature doe in the span of 3 min with a muzzle loader. I even shot the doe first (by mistake.. thick brush and she came right from where the buck was at) and STILL called the buck into 5 yards while reloading my muzzle loader.After two shots and two re-loads I had a THIRD buck come in to the same area looking for the source of the calls.Unfortunately I lost my call while dragging the deer out so I had to order a new one on here.My only complaint is the method of adjusting the call tone. It can be loud if you are not extremely careful. Your best bet is to set it on the second highest pitch setting and leave it unless you specifically need a grunt.
