Pair this thing with an exhaust system and you can’t be disappointed. I do feel a little heat soak at stop lights when first going but after that it picks up like crazy. I have the g37x and itll spin the rear to when coming from a dead stop. Instructions are in depth. I recommend putting heat tape on the heat shield and piping I did notice quite a difference in intake temperature. I also put a seal on the hood side too.

Easy to install. Only took 2 hours. Easy directions. Looks good. Sounds amazing. Added new life to my car with increased gas milage and power.

Very straight forward install. The PCV setup is poorly thought out and improvised at best. I also do not like the small MAF tube cross section as it made my G35 run very rich. The long metal pipes really heat soaked sitting above my headers even though my headers are coated. That being said they were great to canabalize for parts for a custom air intake. I ended up buying Hitommy 2.75" MAF housings and removing the metal pipes. I used my HPS post MAF silicone hoses I was running with the stock air boxes, the factory PCV setup, 2.75" MAF housings with the heat shields and filters from this kit. I flipped the brackets that mount the pipes to the heatshields 180, bent them slightly and clamped my filters to the MAF housing and the brackets with a pair of T-bolt clamps. The whole system now functions great. The larger MAF housings required some remapping with Uprev but that was straight forward since I have Uprev Tuner.

This product worked great for more me. Actually took it to a performance shop for tuning. I was open to getting a more expensive intake at the time but they told me it was sufficient. Had it for around a year now

I’m always cautious when it comes to buying cheap mods for my car. I understand that you get what you pay for. In this case, I saw that we were essentially looking at a K&N Typhoon style short ram and I accepted the risk per the low cost.I’m glad I did!As expected, the aluminum tubes are pretty light and cheap - The welds are pretty rough as well. These are things to be expected when you cut cost. However, the fitment was spot on. If you follow the instructions, take your time and plan the install before diving in, this will be a VERY solid mod. The entire unit, once fully installed, is extremely stable and does not feel cheap.I will likely swap out the filters for something a bit higher quality, but the included ones seem to be on par with Spectre quality - Which is cheap, but not horrible. Two things worth mentioning from the install:1. The breather tube on the passengers side was way too long, but I simply cut it to length with scissors. I’d recommend cutting off LESS than you think you need and then cut more, if required, until it fits.2. The instructions recommend cutting the gasket that goes around the heat shields, but if you don’t mind putting in a little extra muscle, you can get the gasket to wrap all the appropriate areas without cutting it, which looks a bit nicer (in my opinion).Notes:-No check engine light! (make sure to disconnect battery prior)-Added a bit more grumble to my exhaust note, barely.-No added induction sound on the 370z, unfortunately.-Somehow fixed an RPM dip in my 3rd gear-Noticeable difference in the smoothness of my power band, overall.-No “felt” power gains - but you will need a tune to take advantage of parts like this.

Honestly you will get my full report after I, get it on. I, know it will not put out ad much hp as AEM or K&N not sure why seems there made of similar design is it possible that it's skinnier should be 3inches hope the filters are madewell and that it does not rsttkecand make a terrible noise maybe k&n has things inside it that create better noise mot can sound but pro sound?

Contrary to another review, and I'm not planning to write a book, I found this kit to be well made for the price. All of the welds were good and polished properly. The aforementioned holes with grommets work as though they should and with, guess what?...no vacuum leaks! I will say that the instructions leave a little to be desired but hey, this is NOT a Stillen or Injen COI! The sound is far better than stock and I dare say that the performance is as well but I'll have to wait until my next dyno day to be certain.

I knew buying this product that it would not be top quality or comparable to the higher priced units on the market today. When I opened the product it was packaged very well. Upon review of the product I first notice that the quality of the workmanship was very poor. The welds on the intake piping look as if they were done by a blindfolded chimpanzee and then they were attempted to be fixed by grinding the excess weld away. The intake pipes have a hole drilled in them up near where they connect to the throttle bodies that is supposed to be for the PCV system. On a higher end intake there is typically a nipple here where you would connect a rubber line. That is not the case with these. They supply you with a rubber grommet and a very cheap 90 degree spade attachment which once installed would immediately cause a vacuum leak after the mass airflow sensor. The filters included are the same quality as a cheap cone filter you would get from your local auto parts store. The heat shields are of very poor construction and also look as if they were assembled by a blinded primate. I do not think there is any quality control where this kit is put together. All pieces with paint on them were given one very thin coat of paint and on some spots you can even see the metal through the paint. I have yet to install these on my car as I am almost certain that they will cause more trouble than they are worth. I will be installing them this weekend and providing additional feedback along with pictures.
