There is almost no abrasive cutting material on these at all. Sure they will cut if you sit there for 30 min pushing way to hard.

Schnell mal eben 8 Löcher durch Granitstein? Gehwegbeleuchtung basteln ? Nicht mit diesen Bohrern!Ich habe mit Standbohrer ohne Schlag, mit Kühlung, Pausen und wenig Druck Bohrungen in Steinen versucht (siehe Bild) , nach ca 5 bis 6 cm Bohrweg waren beide Bohrer stumpf. Vielleicht für Lochbohrungen in Fliesen zu gebrauchen aber sicher nicht wie in der Beschreibung angegeben für Granit. Wer also ähnliches vorhat... ich kann nur ganz klar vom Kauf abraten...Ergänzt am 13.11.2024Ich habe eine E-Mail des Anbieters erhalten mir den Kaufbetrag zu erstatten, das finde ich sehr großzügig, werde es jedoch nicht annehmen, denn letztlich habe ich die beiden Bohrer verbraucht.Nachdem ich nun meine Bewertung überdacht habe, ändere ich meine Bewertung gern von einem auf vier Sterne, denn die Bohrer an sich funktionieren einwandfrei und sind von einer guten Qualität, nur eben nicht soooo gut für meine persönliche Bastelaktion geeignet. Auch die Lieferzeit ist unschlagbar und das Erstattungsangebot von BRSchnitt sowie deren Kundenbetreuung sind somit aus meiner Sicht ebenfalls sehr gut..Ich hatte in der Zwischenzeit zwei andere Bohrer eines Mitbewerbers bestellt und mit deutlich höherer Drehzahl gebohrt, wie in einigen Foren angeraten wird. Auch hier erziehle ich in etw das gleiche Ergebnis von 5-5cm . Wahrscheinlich ist es besser mit soetwas zum Steinmetz zu gehen und einen Profi ranzulassen...

If you have ever tried drilling a hole in a porcelain tile you will know what a pain it can be. I have gone down the route of buying expensive bits and gone down the route of buying cheap almost throw away bits in bulk – both ways have a finite life and they end up being consumable bits, but some make the job way easier and more successful than others, and when you are drilling holes in set expensive tiles you do not want to be messing it up.This item is for 9 bits, 8 hole cutting and 1 chamfer, which come in a solid and well presented flight case with the bits well protected inside (please see photos).Per photos the case is around 19cm x 13cm x8cm – so is small enough to not take up much room.So far I have only used the 8mm bit for screwing holes in 10mm porcelain tile in bathroom for fixing towel rails and toilet roll holder – the bit drilled 6 holes with minimal fuss and has plenty of life left – tip is to let the bit do the work and not force it.Recommend this set but wonder at current selling price of £60 how much of that is for the flight case.

Received it and went straight to cut a hole. Grab an old tile piece and some water and began cutting a hole. It was a really smooth hole. The bit did not appear to have anything noticeable wrong with it. I decided to cut another hole and it came out like the first hole. Bit looks great and the hole is nice and smooth. The speed it cuts it a nice speed. It is not a 3 second hole cutting, but maybe a 15-20 second cutting job. I am really pleased with its performance. I am going to buy another when this wears out. I have some planned holes, just this size, I will need to do when I am installing a bathroom tile floor and tub walls. I know I will have some very near other jobs. I believe this bit is very sweet and I support it 100%/ I will know more by the end of the month. i will try to update this review, after I get it in use multiple times again.

This bit is clutch for your hole needs. I will tell you DONT use this with an impact driver. It will tear up your board. Otherwise- it is great.
