The vintage-style flush-base leg Assembly and smaller diameter tubing of 6000 series stands provide a practical hardware option that is significantly lighter without sacrificing quality or performance.

finally able to afford some nice DW cymbal stand for cheap! they look beautiful and are very sturdy and strong. don't recommend hanging toms off them as they will tip over or damage the stand.

This is a very solid stand, and excellent value for the price. I play Cajon and wanted to add a small crash cymbal to the mix.

These stands hold my 19 and 20 inch cymbals with no problem and I can play them hard with no worries. Light and compact, they are great to gig out with!

When DW came out with the 6000 Series cymbal stands, I didn't give them much thought. They didn't look sturdy enough for me and I assumed they weren't as good as their 9000 series hardware.Boy, was I wrong. These stands have the same adjustability and quality as the 9000 series stands, but they weigh half as much! I wouldn't try to hang a tom from one of these stands, but for my cymbals they are perfect. And they give the kit an overall clean appearance because you aren't looking at a riser full of tripods. If you haven't tried a DW cymbal stand, you will be amazed at the adjustability and efficiency of the Tech Lock system. You can set the angle of your cymbal just the way you want it, and not be restricted by the coarse tilters found on other stands in this price range. The smaller diameter tubing and aluminum tripod system makes these stands so light you won't even know you are carrying them.

Here's a great stand that is going to save you from future visits to an orthopedist. The stands are made with fantastic workmanship and attention to detail: locking collars, locking arm, and the ability to modify the foot placing and braces to work with other flush base stands in your set-up. You can carry two of these for the weight of less than one 9000-series stand from DW, so check 'em out.
