Very nice drumstick holder/bag which can carry a good amount of sticks. Easy to install, simply take the protective film off the back of the straps then strap it onto one of your stands that is within easy reach. The straps fasten and tighten down with velcro which is pretty handy. The backing of the straps have a sticky rubber which keeps the bag from sliding downwards. Its actually pretty effective at doing so.The bag is the perfect size and length and exposes a little under half of your stick so its easy to grab one when the stick you're using decides to become airborne...Bag is heavy-duty nylon material and is not going to degrade or fall apart anytime soon. At least in my lifetime.Love this bag, am completely satisfied with the build quality and functionality and would get another one in an instant if something happened to it! Highly recommend!

My daughter got a Donner electric drum set for Christmas but it was driving me crazy that her drum sticks were always on the floor where I might trip on them. The set didn't come with any type of holder or place to put the included drum sticks when not in use. I saw this holder and figured it was worth a shot. The holder does it's job. The bag is large enough to hold many pairs of drum sticks, and it was easily to secure it to one of the legs of her drum set. So far, it stays where it is supposed to and there are no more drum sticks on the floor. Yay!I do have a couple pet peeves with this, which is why I took off one star. For starters, the adjustable strap backing is velcro on one side, but then a shiny, smooth finish on the other. On the shiny, smooth finish they have a clear plastic that is applied, which is supposed to be removed before use. The problem is, they sewed right over top of the clear plastic in one area on each of the straps, so it's impossible to remove the clear plastic from that part. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but it would be nice if it wasn't there and/or could be easily removed. The rest of the plastic was easy to take off in other areas, thankfully. The other thing is that the velcro straps are really long. I have seen a lot of drum sets and I don't know of any with large diameter posts that you would need to secure this on. Again, it's not a deal breaker for me since you can just have the extra over hang, but I think they could've made the strap shorter for a better fit in smaller diameter posts. I think I might just end up cutting it myself, though, so that nothing get stuck on the extra strap material.Overall, I think this is a nice drum stick holder and it functions as was intended. I found it to work well with the Donner set we have and imagine it would work with most any brand of electronic drum sets. I would recommend it!

I've been playing a long time and have multiple kits and percussion rigs, which means I always need stick and mallet holders. I was surprised at the quality of the material and build on this one considering it is a generic/"off" brand. Tough material - well constructed. velcro is pretty solid (and a pretty good idea over some of the other stick holder systems). This would of course work well on a mic stand or any post to hold sticks or other items.I will say- not that it is an issue- don't pay attention to the scale in the photos because you'd get the impression that sticks would drop in to 70-80%% of their length (which would be ridiculous anyway for practical use). This would be more like 40-60% depending on the length of the stick or mallet, which actually is a much better length for being able to choose and grab on the fly.all in all a decent product

As a drummer for over 50 years, and a band teacher for 42 years, I have the experience to recognize a good and useful percussion product. This is just such an item. I have tried the stick holder in two colors and both look attractive. The holder will accept many pairs of sticks for your drum set, and I immediately found another excellent use. This would also be a great item for music teachers of school bands. I attached it to one of the legs on our xylophone and filled it with various mallets and implements, so it is a good organizational tool. The photos included with the Amazon description are misleading. Notice that only the top portion of the drumsticks extend above the holder. Not true in real life. The holder isn't very tall, and good quality sticks will extend much farther above the holder than whatever generic or child size sticks are in the photo. Also, the perfect shape of the holder in the photos makes it seem like it must be hard, stiff, or reinforced in some way. Not too much. It's pretty much just a bag. But it's a nice bag. The current price is well under $20. It's definitely worth it. So, what you have is a good, useful, product that's a very reasonable value. I will likely order several more for use on my different drum kits and with our school band.

I have been using a ceramic crock on the floor to hold my extra drumsticks, mallets, and brushes but recently it has not been ideal with the new group I’m playing with. When I saw this new stick holder that attaches to the hi-hat, I sent for it. This is a very sturdy bag made of heavy nylon with two velcro straps on the back for attaching to a a stand. I was easily able to attach this to my hi-hat stand and adjust it for easy access while playing. The bag conforms to the sticks you use, and the soft material is quiet in use. I was able to easily move from sticks to mallets and back to sticks with no issues. I noticed that there is a variation of this bag which has the straps located differently allowing for the bag to be angled which may be useful to some, but I prefer this more upright orientation. The only way this could potentially be improved would be to have a metal ring sewn into the top to help hold the shape of the bag to allow for even easier access. But as it is, its quite functional.
