Mows through my pugs nails quickly. Just be careful with the speed on your dremel and watch your fingers!

Wow. I used a dremel for my Doberman for 10 years and now with my vizsla for a year. I’ve tried multiple sanding drums to find the best and just got this one. This is a game changer. Smooth and fast. A little quieter and less tremor even with the contact to the nail which has been less irritating to my 1 year old vizsla.

It doesn't seem like it grinds a lot faster than the sanding disks, but it does grind the nail into a nice shape and it's easy to use. I liked it better immediately after the first use. There's no sign of wear after use. I'm sure it will last longer than the sandpaper .

I’ve been using a Dremel for on my dogs nails for many years with the standard sand head. The diamond head has made it so much easier to shape the nails.

So, after the first time using this bit with my pawcontrol Dremel I was disappointed. But that changed after using a few times. The first time I used a slow speed and it took forever. I used a slow speed based on a review that these bits get very hot on a faster speed, but after trying a high speed, trimming 16 hard nails found it to be cool to touch. It was actually easier and I found with a couple of practices I could zip the nails of wick and shape them nicely. I would highly recommend these Dremel diamond bits. Just make sure you buy the appropriate size for your dog's nails and practice!

This was a game changer in doing my dogs nails! Love this! Fit my dremel perfectly and did a fantastic job on my girls nails! Don’t know how I did it without this before! 5 star! Will definitely purchase again! Made her nails smooth and basically shaped them for me! My dog has no anxiety about having her nails done so I can’t speak on that part but if you are already using a dremel for your dogs nails, this isn’t any different as far as noise levels or the feeling they probably get from it as compared to the little disks except for it’s an upgrade for sure because it is faster. My favorite part is this doesn’t get hot so I don’t have to keep stopping like I did with the disks.

I like the shape of the Dremel bit for nails as it keeps the nail in a better place than trying to hold flat sandpaper roll bits against it. But I don't think it really works any better. On the other hand, it isn't as slow as the very expensive bit that a lot of people like (but as a regular bit it can tangle hair.) So mixed review. I know some people really like this kind better than the sandpaper, so I think it is worth a try for anyone who does nails with a Dremel and it should last longer than sandpaper.
