The cable received works perfectly with my console, it fits my PS3 nicely and it has the three legs needed for connection. The only reason why I didn't love this power cord is because it didn't arrive black as in the pictures, the cable that arrived is a light grey/greenish look that makes it really noticeable when you are trying to keep your setup with less visual noise as possible, so it makes it standout quite a bit, plus it is a big size cable. The diameter on this thing is really big, but I prefer that if it helps it to work for a longer time instead of a cable that might be wonky and you have to be moving to make it work.This cable is for PS3 Fat!!! The first ones that came out. I don't know if the PS3 slim and/or other version might work with this since I do not know the cable entry needed.

I ordered this 3 prong ps3 cable because its from DREAMGEAR, expecting packaged in a black and red box sealed AS SHOWN IN PICTURE with their logo all over their product just like everything else ive ordered from them in the past, Nothing i received states its by them, instead i received a loose connection cable thrown in the yellow shipping pouch WITHOUT invoice paperwork! This is the 1ST time i rate a dreamgear product 1star* because of its retail distributor "wholesale outlet".

In my family we had only one ps3 the big ps3 and it mainly stayed in the living room. I got this so I can take the it to my bedroom. Now we have two ps3's so I keep this power cord as a backup. It fits the ps3 perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who has the old ps3.

It's a power cord, that's about it. The length is perfect....not too short. Built with quality. Black (is that enough words), perfect!

On the description of this cord it says it is compatible with the XBox 360 AND the PS3. That is not true! It can't be used on the XBox, only the PS3 which is fine because that is why we bought it but we thought we were getting something a bit more universal.
