After going online I researched and found the standard and narrow nipples are basically the same. Sent the first set back, before my research, because of that discrepancy in the item description. After giving to my daughter-in-law she said she couldn't tell the difference so she kept them. The nipples were a good price.

I've been really happy with teh Dr Browns bottles and accessories. They all seem very well built with quality materials, and are generally very durable. We will be able to reuse all of them with our next kid for sure.The extra nipples are great, as no matter what you do, kids chew on them when teething, and they will fail. having a few extras is great, and the bulk buying from Amazon makes it possible. The delivery was 8 nipples, but it was four of the same 2-packs you buy in the store for 1/4 the price. a GREAT value.

We love Dr Brown's, but I didn't love the price of having to buy the new nipples as my daughter grew. These were excellent. They arrived quickly and were a great value. My daughter happily drinks from her Dr. Brown bottles with these size 2 nipples and rarely spits up or has gas. I would recommend all of Dr. Brown's products to anyone who is having trouble deciding what type of bottle to use with their little one.

We had been using the stage one nipples that came with the Dr. Browns bottles, and by the time our baby was 6 months, he was eating so slowly it would take him about 20 minutes to finish his bottle. We started using the stage two nipples that came with the original bottle set,(it comes with 2 size 2's for a set of 5 bottles), and it worked great. I ordered this set to make sure we had enough. He eats much more quickly now, and we'll keep an eye out to make sure when to move up in size again

Update:I would like to thank dr. Browns customer service department "Shelley" for reaching out to me about my issue. They sent me replacement nipples. I would absolutely recommend this brand because this company will stand by their product.I like the bottles, however I used the nipples once and a few of them cracked after a single use. Very disappointed in the quality of these nipples! My 3 month old was choking because the milk was coming out so fast from the cracked hole.I used this nipple once and it cracked.
