Triangular End Design
- Rough shaft design with triangular end. Will not slip. For use with 3/8" or 1/2" chuck hand drills.
Professional Oil Pump Primer Tool
- A special billet aluminum socket is used to accurately position the shaft and prevent it from wobbling
Tips for Use
- When you use this priming tool to prime an oil pump, if it is not easy to insert when inserting the oil drive shaft, it can be properly filed and massaged

Works well for priming of oil system, a little force is needed to remove it after use but that is a good sign of a tight fit.

I had to punch the roll pin out of the tool shaft and take the round guide end off, grind the rectangular shaft end to fit in my oil pump drive shaft end, and put it back together. It now fits perfectly. Small block chev 383 stroker with melling pump and all metal pump drive shaft

Had to grind down end to fit drive gear easily removed roll pin to grind down and reinstall sleeve

This thing worked great on my 70's era 4-bolt main sbc. Had no issues with fitment as other reviewers have mentioned, dropped right down onto the oil pump. Engine was on a stand, so I can't comment on firewall clearance or anything.
