Rubber boot on the brake side was way oversized. Probably used for some other cable on some other car. So large that it prevents the cable from retracting and applying the brake! But what else can you expect for $11.25?

This is a very good updated product, stronger than original. But due to it's redesign it needs a retaining clip to hold cable into place. Which with my delivery was not included. Other than that a Superior product, better than original equipment.

The cable length and coupling were correct, but the cable I received did not have the rubber boot; this is important to mitigate moisture and retain some lubricant since the cable has no plastic coating. Also, the flange that seats in the bracket behind the brake requires a metal clip since it was not made to accept the nylon retaining pin like the original part. Very fiddly work - I had to make a clip from a very thin metal washer to insure retention to the bracket. RA has great pricing.

This parking brake cable is made of quality materials and installs easily to replace OEM part. Shipping was quick and price was very reasonable.
