I bought this because my passenger window had stopped working but I’ll hear the motor trying to raise the window, I searched up window regular till I found out these window motors can be rebuilt quite easy.. I decided to give it a try and.. problem solved ! It was quite easy and honestly you don’t even have to put the snap ring back in, I even used this exact kit on my tailgate window and it also worked, not sure if it’ll work on all years but mine is a 88.

Brought it to the mechanic probably too late to return it and he said the gear is too small for the motor. I entered my car information and it said it fits the motor perfectly so pretty much. I just threw the money in the toilet.

Nice and easy to install, fit my 1990 F250, For all of you with 3D printers I took some measurements for the "crush parts" the large white gear where they insert is smooth at the bottom mine was gouged from the metal one. I wanted some measurements for myself but couldn't find enough info on them anywhere. Hope these help someone.

Ford window motors have 3 brittle plastic marbles that by design will shatter if the motor binds up to save the motor and works exactly as it should. This kit has everything you need to repair the safety marbles as it has the 3 marbles plus the gears and even a new motor cover which allows you to rebuild the motors gearbox in less time than getting the door panel and motor out. It's still in my truck at this very moment and her window has been working perfectly

longevity? that is YEARS down the road. i can't see the future; can you? the large plastic gear was obviously too small. 1/2 inch smaller, at least! but all the other parts were exact replacements. i just needed the three buttons that self destruct after many years of usage. this is my eighth or ninth one replacing.very little price difference between the buttons and complete kits too. the large gear was still fine. better safe then waiting for another week with windows open to weather! total price at rockauto about the same too. i just didn't want to wait 2-5 more days!
