work right away, easy install just above the glove box. after install the drl warning light turned off as well as the annoying buzzing sound, the daytime running lights turned on, and the high beams worked...all of the aforementioned things working resulted from replacing the drl module. the point is if drl isn't working, then none of those other functions will work either, such as and most importantly the high beams...actually the drivers side will work, but the passengers side won't, this is a pretty easy diagnostic test to confirm that drl module needs to be replaced.

SO bought this part not knowing if it was going to fit as I am not an expert. Just a gal with a light problem. I installed the inner circuit board and not the outer case as it is located really tight space under the dash and well seemed to be easier to do as I was lying all twisted round getting my hands up in there. Fits great! I'm happy it fits, and it works. I am happy. Two days later, I sometimes get the alert for DLR. I can start the car 5 times a day and get no alert, and other days my daylight doesn't come on. now it could be the way I installed it or just another problem somewhere. Its an old crv 2004. Who knows, all in all it works for me.

Perfect fit and function. Didn't even use the mount. Just popped the old one out of the plastic box and slipped this one in. DRL light is off and lights work!
