When I first received my exhaust manifold, I was impressed with the weight and package. After opening the box, and inspecting the manifold, I had high hopes. I then removed the heat shield, and was shocked to see, what looks like manufacturing cracks. You can see from the pictures that it is clearly visible. I turned off the lights and used a flash light to see if there was light leaks coming from the cracks. There was none. I also did a water check. No water came out of the cracks. This is a manufacture defect and should be addressed. Also, installing the manifold was not easy. It's not an exact fit. I had to fit the bolts in by bending the heat shield. I made it work, but it would have been nice if the manifold was a perfect fit. I recommend that you grind of the edges were the bolts attach to the engine. Makes work easier. I had to install the manifold and took a gamble on the cracks. I was down one vehicle and needed this one up and running. So far it's been ok and have had no issues. It been two weeks. And no problem. I will update on a later date.

Dorman always does good.

Truly awful. We purchased this as a replacement for our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with the 3.8L motor. I was at first impressed with the engineering as the Dorman part uses drilled and tapped holes and a bolt to fasten the exhaust pipe and crossover pipe to the manifold, where the OEM piece uses oversized drilled holes with bolts and nuts.HOWEVER, I quickly found out that the holes are in the wrong place. After bolting the manifold to the rear head, the crossover pipe does not fit correctly, it's off by about 1/8". Additionally, the bolt holes for the exhaust pipe are rotated from where they should be by about 10-15 degrees. As a result, very little seals and the car is louder and leaking worse with the Dorman manifold than it was with the OE cracked manifold.I would strongly deter anyone from purchasing this manifold, pay a little extra and buy a Mopar part instead. It costs about $50 more on Amazon.EDIT: After taking the exhaust off of the car to put the Mopar manifold on, I discovered numerous casting errors and voids in the part including a hole in the rear-most runner that goes through. This was hidden by the heat-shield. This is also on the same side as the pen mark that I assume means it passed QC.
