It fixed my exuast leaks and was fairly easy to replace, despite exhaust bolt being easy to snap or strip.

The manifold fit exactly as needed. FYI, The Amazon App indicated that this would not fit my automobile however the manufacturer Dorman site indicated it would so I went with that and it worked out.

Perfect fit and nice quality. These are somewhat heavier and have fuller casting around the mating surface of the rear exhaust port where the factory unit failed because of very little surface area. As another reviewer states, the exhaust port machining is pretty much non existent as you can see from my photos. However it is very easy to perform some gasket port matching on your own with a carbide bit, which I did, before I painted them with a high heat coating.I'm still giving these 5 stars because of the quality stainless heat shield and quality gasket and very nice fit on my 03 Ram 1500 4X4 quad cab with 4.7.

They really added more material where the oem one rotted out ,fits perfectly, problem solver gasket also comes with it,heat shield needed some bending to fit right .

I was kind of shocked at the crudeness of the casting. Hah, you won't be mistaking this manifold for an OEM manifold, by appearance. It is definitely thicker and heavier, which may be a good thing. Some of that weight is casting crud, though. The machined face is pretty good, as in flat, though I did find a little bit of "rocker" in one place, while testing with a straight edge. The port edges were pretty rough in several places... probably not enough to make a difference, but, I still ground them a bit with a Dremel. Things went together well, and, it was SO nice not to have an exhaust leak, which I had tolerated for much too long. (My problem began with the rear manifold bolt busting... which I've learned is common in the Dodge 4.7L engine... at around 100K miles, or so. Mine went at around 110K, but, the right side is still OK. My original manifold was badly warped, probably from running so long with the busted bolt.) My local chain auto parts store wanted nearly 2x what I paid for this manifold, here. Same brand. Barring any problems cropping up, I'd say this was a good purchase.

I bought both sides for my 2001 4.7L V8 even though websites like Advance auto say it won't fit my 2001, it was a perfect fit, and looks even better than the OEM casting, my castings were showing a lot of scale and thinning down, so I opted for the new replacements as this is not the kind of job you'll want to do again if you can help it.. Great part, great service. fast shipping.
