I would not.Recommend as it plugs the 2 rear cylinders.It's the whole reason why Chevy came out with this system.Because the two rear cylinder run hot.. If you put these plugs in there you have a chance of overheating.Those two cylinders blowing a head gasket

Good but expensive. I had a crappy leak on tha truck my brother gave me. I didn't know until I was replacing a 4l60e. Get tha upgrade pressure spring, tha upgrade sun shell, and tha upgrade clutches. These transmissions are classic. The only thing that kills them is the weak shift. I'm pushing 600+ hp, and 140k so far. Hope this helps!!

It was a hour and half installation and the fit was no problem. There is no coolant leak anymore the dealer was indicating it was my water pump if you can do your inspection, you safe a lot of Mula.

Amazon said this part would not fit my 2005 Silverado 5.3L but, it does. I cross checked with Dorman on their website and the part number matched up with this one. Install was easy and straight forward. The part didn't line up perfectly with the holes at first but, the part was also shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box. I think it got tweaked a bit in shipping. It doesn't take much to just bend it back where you need it.
