fixed clicking noise coming under glove box on a 2016 kia sportage.was able to replace the actuator through the glove box, just need a stubby screw driver and some patience. took about 30 minutes in all.

The air blend door on the driver's side of our 2017 Kia Sportage stopped working, and we were unable to direct (any) heat on the driver's side. That was a problem last winter, so we didn't drive it much. After some troubleshooting I found out that this is a common problem, and the local Kia dealer wanted several hundred dollars to replace it. In reality, it's just a part with an electrical connector and three screws behind a dash panel down by the driver's right knee, and it took me like 30-44 min to replace this. For the $30 price for the Dorman part, I am very happy with it. Kudos!

The heat stopped working in my 2017 Kia Sportage and after troubleshooting the issue I found that it was the blend door actuator that was bad. I found this item cheaper on Amazon and ordered it to fix my issue. The installation was easy following a video on youtube and the part worked great and now I have heat again.

Amazon car fit tool says it doesnt fit my vehicle (Hyundai Tuscon 2017 1.6T), however it fit and worked perfectly. Should be a 4 star for that but in the spirit of Christmas a 5 is good.
