After going through all the trouble of installing the cable, the first time I set the parking brake the little swedged ball popped off the end of the cable. I'm getting tired of poor quality products.

I used the parts in this kit to help construct a parking brake system for a car that I recently purchased. High quality cable and fittings (for example, the adjustable end fitting has a ball to engage the cable to avoid abrading the cable with the tightening screw); enabled me to fabricate a great parking brake system for a 1959 model car where no parking brake system existed except the parking brake pull handle. In my case, these parts were worth 10 times the price, due to the difficulty in finding any original equipment parts.
