Stainless is twice the cost but hopefully worth the extra.

This is what should be used when replacing the dreaded exaust manifolds on F150's with the 5.4 engine. These studs as well as the locknuts i received were stainless so be careful ,if you drop one somewhere in the frame because they are non magnetic and you will have fun fishing them out ...Piece of advice if you're doing the passenger side , remove the heat shield on the new manifold otherwise you will not have access to the fwd lower stud to install the nut and install the two forward lower studs before setting the manifold in place, seems like the You Tube geniuses omit those details.I've installed a few manifolds so i can speak from previous experience.Remove the inner fender and the starter and you will be good to go ...

Replaced Exhaust Manifolds on my 2001 F250 5.4, once you get the old ones out these ones fit right in and worked well. You do have to have the reverse torx sockets, if you do not you may want to look into getting allen head manifold bolts.

Supplied these to the bus shop that repaired the broken studs (some requiring helicoil) on my '06 F53 chassis. Broke and the Banks headers were leaking. Paired with Mahle gaskets.
