I needed the smaller diameter hole saw to cut a hole through an eave on a roof to run spotlight wires and this worked perfectly. Be sure to use a strong drill and lean into it to get the hole cut. Once the hole saw gets going it really cuts well. It is made very well and should hold up a long time.

Nice setup. Very sharp. Just as described on Amazon. Great value. The only thing that would improve this item is carbide tips.

Always need a set of these around-- even if you have one from 5 years back-- sinceby now that one has been misplaced or buried under other stuff in the garage :)

These Vikiton hole saws required too much time and downward pressure to get through a 3/4 inch piece of pine. The saw would be fine for occasional use, but definitely would not make a pro happy. The resulting hole did have mostly clean edges. There was a bit of minor splintering, which was probably the fault of my technique, rather than the saw. I selected the saws for use in random craft projects, not for door installation. The saws are thick walled and made of strong steel. Decent quality, for occasional usage.

A set of nice hole saws. Both are sturdy and have their own center drill. They can be used for applying door handles or wherever you need to drill holes this size. Both are heavy duty and sharp hole saws, built to last. This product includes the drills and saws only. There is no guide jig to help you drilling into the right position.

These bits are tough. I had no problem drilling through a solid core steel clad exterior door. I started out with a different brand which had only one pilot drill/arbor for the two blades, the intent being to unscrew it from the first blade after cutting the hole and put it in the second blade to finish the job. NOT! It stuck too tightly in the first bit to remove it. Not a problem with this set.

Been looking for one set that specifies it would work on metal door. Finally decided on this one. Was afraid it would not drill or be hard to drill the aluminum door but boy was I surprised. It went through the door really fast. Have to say the doors material is the thin kind. But it worked great for my door. Would recommend.

For the price this is a pretty nice hole saw set. Simply attaches to your drill. Doesn't come with any guides or instructions, but they are unnecessary. Was able to to knock out a door knob hole in minutes.
