Just used it for the 1st time. Not accurate in size. I'm a contractor and I have an old porter cable one and checked all measurements against it and it's off like an 1/8". Hinges float in routered space. Hinges aren't tight in routered space. Would not recommend. I kept the parts for my porter cable and threw it out. Not happy at all. Don't waste your money!

Frame seems to be fiberglass and was bowed on mine causing alignment issues. Also, short stubby removable nails were provided to set/hold position on door or frame while routing. I had much better luck with 2, 1 1/4" #6 wood screws. Much more stable and secure. Instructions were not legible due to both type size and print quality. Fortunately it's a knock off of a major brand that has some info online.

This is junk. I wasn't able to start working with it until after the return period so if you try it do it right away. The problem with this is that its not sturdy and for some reason does not cut to size. It doesn't grip the door well and the trim router is too small for the template. It drops into the template. I switched to a full size router which helped but the problem comes about that template doesn't grip the door well. Finally, after the cut, the cut area is too big by 1/8 inch. It isn't a snug fit. Its like one problem after another......

This door jamb hinge is a great tool to have around if ever in need. Product works exactly as advertised and its a great value. Thumbs up for this brand!

The hinge template was very helpful in helping me mortise the hinges on the first door I have ever set (pictured). I highly recommend it, it worked great !

This jig makes no sense, dimensions are wrong, I mean not even close to what they should be... Do not was your money, the adjustment is presets, so no way to correct this. Don't waste your time... I've been a tradesman for 20 years and I'm tired of horrible products polluting the world, do it right or don't do it at all... 2 starts for presentation, and nothing else

Kinda works but not really. Bought it so it would be simpler to install doors. It became a different complicated step. Not worth the money
