I bought this for my JRT and unless I wanted to strangle him, there was no way this was going to stay in place, on the top of his head. I had hoped this would be an alternative to the 'Cone of Shame' to protect a wound on the top of his head.

I have a Chiweenie and this item did not fit his tiny little head. The idea was great. Will still continue to look for a better sized option for my tiny little friend. this item is a great quality, but make sure you look at the dimensions and then measure your pets head appropriately.

I had to wait a little while just to be sure, but this is the best dog helmet ever! Now just to be clear. The helmet by itself, falls off very easily with a couple paw swipes. However, if you attach goggles like I did, it will not come off! It's works so amazingly well with goggles! Everytime I go out for a ride, there are always people dieing to take pictures! Usually 5-12 people on each and every ride. And what do they say is the cutest thing ever? The helmet and goggles on Lollie! Everyone loves it! I have a 13lb maltipoo and it fits her absolutely perfect! If anyone see's this and wants to sponsor her. Look for AdventuresWithLollie on tiktok! I would love to test items as well! I bought this item with my own money and am 100% glad I did!

Great fit !!! He's half pom and shihtzu he's 6 lbs.. may slide off if he really wants to take it off, but in the mist he don't even care for it. ON BIKE ETC he doesn't care for the helmet.

I very carefully measured my pets head to be sure this should fit, but it is still much too large and would only fit an exact breed of dog (if any). I don't know breed this would work for, but is definitely too large even though I followed the guide.

I’m still unsure if this helmet will stay on and help protect my dog’s head, but I was able to adjust it properly after viewing videos on it. You almost have to take it apart and put it back together to tighten it fully. He looks a little silly, it isn’t a good fit, but I still hope it might help give me some peace of mind and might help protect him from any future injuries. I only took off a star because I think this fits very specific dogs. Likely best on short nose breeds. Also because I’m unsure it’ll do anything to help protect him.

I was uncertain why this product arrived woth the little black rubber band holding the male end of the clip to the strap. Seemed odd. It only made sense to break it apart and then feed the loop through the buckle so thats exactly what I did and that allowed for the adjustment of the length. I believe its just a shipping band thats not meant to be permanent so the buckle doesn't get lost during shipping. The helmet fit small on my jack russell’s head so I had to remove the internal cushions for it to fit a bit more snug to his head. Theres velcro holding the cushions in so they come right out easy. I will need to make a thinner 1/16”-1/8” felt cushion to replace these thicker cushions (1/4” thick approx) so it fits him better. Outer shell and internal hard foam feels very sturdy though so this is better then nothing.
