I had my local mechanic change my timing belt and he has work on all my friends miatas but when he installed this one the belt was almost to tight to get on then afterwards there was a really bad wining coming from the timing belt and now when it’s cold you can hear it really loudly

I needed a water pump and thought this would be a good idea to buy a kit. 4 hours or more into the replacement I found that the water pump didn't fit my 1993 Mazda Miata as described. The housing plate didn't fit my motor! Plus the idler pulley hole was not even threaded. Even if I were able to fit this part, I wouldn't have been able to mount my pulley...This part is sub-par... Avoid purchasing this kit, because the water pump does not fit!!! Now I'm not even sure if any of the other parts will work, because the water pump is the primary or fundamental part of this whole kit... Warning...Do not purchase!!
