No metal and all plastic. I received two and they are different. Cheap junk and too tiny. Like a kid toy. I should have got the nice solid metal ones that cost more.

The spinning wheel is plastic but detailed. Weight is sufficient considering the size. Comfortable in hand. Just recieved and they are so pretty!Although the prayer wheel is made of plastic it works very well. The dangle charm attached is made of a heavy metal to make it spin and the handle is wood.I would reccomend these!Thank you!!
