These are fantastic weather resistant solar disconnect Breakers I am using them with an off-grid cabin setup I am building I accidentally bought the wrong size breaker and found that you can easily swap in a smaller two pole circuit breaker if needed I am very happy with the quality of this electrical box and its connections and have purchased two of these so far

This is a great, solid circuit breaker for the price. It's plastic rather than metal, but still seems sturdy enough and weatherproof for at least a few years of use. And that allows this to be cheaper than I would have expected, even a few years ago. The inside is pretty roomy, it could be a tad bit longer for an easier time wiring, but it was a good size. The voltage and amp capacity is great, and should be able to handle most solar panel systems. It's a good safety feature to avoid disastrous meltdowns and allow safe disconnects, and installing this was miles easier vs making something like it on my own. For the price, this is easy to recommend.

I'm building out another camper electrical and solar conversion. For the solar shut off, this is exactly what is needed. And it's a really good price compared to other options available.I've used others before, and built my own. Building my own is annoying as you have to source the correct sized enclosure (and often its hard to get a 4 way - the 2 conductors coming in from solar and the 2 going out to your solar controller), find the breaker and the parts. Buying others made for this purpose that are from solar or conversion companies are really expensive. This one comes with everything needed. It's a perfect size, has a clear access door on front to get to the breaker that has a seal, it has the 4 cable glands, and even has a small roll of electrical tape (not that its needed), and mounting hardware.Highly recommended. Just make sure you get the correct sized breaker. It is a rail style box, so you can change the breaker if needed. Even then, its still a good price.

The Screws to mount the wires into the switch are not in the Kit. Mounting hardware is all there however when you attempt to install the wires there isnt any way to install the power lines. I missed the return window as I had just got to the point to do the install. If you Buy this Item check for screws in the switch itself. Mounting was ok. I have to take it down to go to a hardware store for screws at this point. Lesson Learned Check the Switch and Don Piss a ship back date

This is a reasonably good solar disconnect. I've got this setup in a shed with a few panels on top. I needed a way to turn off the panels and also to keep any malfunctions from ruining my batteries and inverters. I don't have any ability to test the breaker itself but it seems well made. The mounting of the box was easy enough and it wasn't too difficult to screw the PV wire into the breaker on either side. It's designed in a way that it would work outside, but I've got mine inside the shed.
